dispensary Built in the last century for local doctors. Third house on left is
the Credit Union Office, which was once the Post Office operated by the Conway
family for many years. The first house on the right has a varied history A newspaper
shop ran by Annie Ryan next by Peggy Phelan, previous owners were the Baggot family
who ran it as a pub. Other Houses on the right were mill houses built by Mulcahy
Redmond Woollen Mills. On the far horizon can be seen the old stone age fort in
perfect preservation.
